Lables in rolls

When choosing roll labels, you need to consider not only label width and height but also core diameter, maximum roll diameter and winding configuration. These parameters must be compatible with the particular printer and the way it is used.

Direct thermal printing uses heat-sensitive labels and does not require a thermal transfer ribbon. It is particularly suitable when long-term print durability is not required. Thermal transfer printing uses a label together with a ribbon and, depending on the selected materials, can provide greater durability and a longer service life.

Label material and adhesive type are also important. Standard paper labels are suitable for many common applications, while more demanding environments may require more durable materials or specialised adhesives. Selection should take into account both the surface to which the label will be applied and the conditions it will face during use.
